Abstract: A trench (Trench 1) was excavated using a tracked 360� 8-tonne mechanical excavator fitted with a toothless ditching bucket to allow emergency work involving the replacement of transformer supporting poles . No archaeological remains of significance were encountered during the archaeological monitoring work.
