Four new spider species of the Pholcus phungiformes species group (Araneae, Pholcidae) from South Korea

Abstract: Four new spider species of the genus Pholcus Walckenaer, 1805, Pholcus baegamsan sp. nov ., Pholcus hongcheon sp. nov ., Pholcus namhae sp. nov ., and Pholcus yeongcheon sp. nov . belonging to the P. phungiformes species group in the family Pholcidae C. L. Koch, 1850, are newly described from South Korea. The new species presented here were hand-collected from rocky areas, such as rock walls and beneath rocks, in mountainous mixed forests.
