Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: This essay engages with the book reviews of Technocolonialism: when technology for good is harmful and centres on four themes: the relevance of technocolonialism beyond humanitarian settings, the role of capitalism, the relationship between resistance and activism, and the imagination of alternative futures. Naming the essay After Technocolonialism underlines the urgent need to imagine and realise a future without technocolonialism.
