Giant Left Anterior Descending Artery Aneurysm With an Unusual Direct Continuity to the Aortic Arch

Abstract: A giant coronary artery aneurysm connected directly to the aortic arch is a rare and interesting cardiac pathology. When patients with coronary aneurysms and fistulas are not carefully investigated with advanced imaging techniques, surgeons may experience sudden problems intraoperatively, which may increase patients' morbidity. In this case report, we presented a surgical treatment and pre- and intraoperative surgical approaches to a patient with an interesting direct connection between a giant left anterior descending artery aneurysm and an aortic arch via a separate vessel, which was diagnosed thanks to a computed tomography scan, in a patient presenting with an acute myocardial infarction.
