Enhancing Secrecy Capacity and Sensing Fidelity in IQSC via Entanglement Purification
Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: Integrated Quantum Sensing and Communication (IQSC) systems provide a unified platform for secure information transfer and precise sensing. However, their performance is limited by entanglement degradation and channel-induced noise, which reduce both communication security and sensing accuracy. This work proposes a Purified-IQSC (P-IQSC) architecture incorporating Entanglement Purification Protocols (EPPs), specifically the DEJMPS protocol, to enhance entanglement fidelity and mitigate noise effects. The proposed framework is analytically modeled to evaluate the impact of purification on secrecy capacity and detection probability. Numerical simulations further validate that the P-IQSC architecture significantly outperforms conventional IQSC systems by achieving higher secrecy capacity and improved signal detection performance. Our results highlight the potential of entanglement purification to enable scalable, noise-resilient quantum networks for next-generation secure sensing and communication.
