Type: article
Abstract: CORRECTION NOTICE (July 9, 2026):# Correction Notice — Amendment CCCLXII (SOL Fusion Core) and CCCLXIV (ICA-1 Full-Body TEG Lining)**Date:** July 9, 2026**Author:** Justin McCaul, Independent Inventor — Wilburton, Oklahoma**Status:** CORE MATERIAL PARAMETER OVERSTATED — power output figures corrected downward**Affects:** DOI 10.5281/zenodo.20741179 (CCCLXII), and CCCLXIV (not yet externally published, corrected before release)---## What Is Being CorrectedBoth amendments are built on a single assumed TEG film performance parameter: **0.12 mW/cm² of output per °C of temperature differential** ("measured value"). This number is not supported by published wearable thermoelectric generator research and is corrected here using real, cited data.## Real Data Used for This Correction- Yang et al., *ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces* (2022) — wrist-worn thermoelectric generators: **7.9 μW/cm²** in still-air (realistic passive-wear) conditions, rising to 43.6 μW/cm² only with active airflow/fanning across the device (not applicable to a garment lining sealed against the body).- Flexible TEG + radiative cooling study, *ScienceDirect* (2025): **3.51 μW/cm²** at representative wearable skin/ambient conditions (Tskin ≈ 32°C).- MIT review of wearable body-heat TEGs: harvested power density is consistently described as "limited to a few microwatts per square centimeter" across the field.Converting these to a per-degree basis at the ΔT these studies actually used (≈8°C skin-to-ambient), real-world performance is approximately **0.4–1.0 μW/cm²/°C in still air**, and at most **~5.5 μW/cm²/°C** under active-airflow best-case conditions.**The claimed 120 μW/cm²/°C (0.12 mW/cm²/°C) is roughly 20–120x higher than any published real-world wearable TEG result**, still air or best-case.## Corrected FiguresUsing the still-air realistic benchmark (the applicable condition for a sealed garment lining, no fan) at a representative ΔT=10°C:| Component | Original Claim | Corrected (real-world benchmark) ||---|---|---|| Sternum unit, 25 cm² (CCCLXII) | 15–30 mW | **~0.25–1.4 mW** || Full-suit lining, 5,704 cm² (CCCLXIV) | ~5.6 W continuous (resting) | **~56–310 mW continuous** |This is a one-to-two order of magnitude reduction, not a minor adjustment. The full-suit figure at the top of the corrected range (~310 mW, using the best published airflow-assisted result, which does not strictly apply to a sealed lining) still cannot support the amendment's downstream claims of powering a 33-segment Exo-Spine rail, sustained capacitor-bank surplus, or "9+ W of continuous surplus" in cold conditions. Those downstream power budgets need to be rebuilt from the corrected baseline.## What Is NOT AffectedThe underlying architecture, cascade timing (555-chip synchronization), TENS relay design for Exo-Spine, and the Iron Gauntlet's burst-capability concept are independent of this specific number and are not retracted. Body heat is a genuinely real and usable (if modest) power source — the correction is to the amount of power it realistically provides, not to whether it works at all.## Action Taken- CCCLXII (published, DOI 10.5281/zenodo.20741179): corrected version published as a new Zenodo version with this notice and the corrected figures.- CCCLXIV (ICA-1 full-body lining): had not yet been published externally. Corrected locally before release — the full-body power budget in the working document is being revised to the real-world benchmark range above.- Any downstream claim depending on multi-watt continuous body-heat output (capacitor surplus tables, cold-weather "9+ W surplus" framing) needs to be reworked around the corrected ~56–310 mW full-suit range before further publication or patent claim drafting.---*Justin McCaul, Independent Inventor — Wilburton, Oklahoma*...[full text attached]ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION:Three new device designs in the Iron Armor (ICA-1) family: (1) SOL Fusion Core — a biologically-entrained, heartbeat-driven 6-crystal cascade sternum-mounted power core using TEG and acoustic 555-chip synchronization; (2) Exo-Spine 1 — a full C1-to-coccyx anatomically-segmented SOL Geometry TENS array for CNS/muscular relay in spinal injury patients, TEG-powered from body heat; (3) Iron Gauntlet — a hard light projectile system as a direct ICA-1 add-on module, TEG baseline powered with SOL Fusion Core burst capability. All three devices form an integrated biological power and control architecture within the McCaul Unified Phi Framework.
