The Token Is Not the Financial Instrument: Five Tokenized Funds, Five Record Architectures, and the Control Boundary Between Blockchain Transfer and Financial Ownership
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: A token balance does not, by itself, identify the financial instrument, the record that governs ownership, the event that makes a transfer effective, or the process that corrects a divergence. This bounded independent study tests that proposition against five United States primary filings covering tokenized money-market-fund and gold-fund shares. It releases a five-record sample, claim-to-evidence matrix, deterministic transfer-boundary calculation, correction register and hash-bound manifest. Private operating records and the complete maintained dataset are excluded. Applied technical determination: Movement Is Not Admission tests this record-integrity methodology against the July 2026 GDF/ISDA tokenized-money-market-fund collateral sandbox.
