HOOAGO Scientific Dossier: A Systems-Based Formulation for Post-Spicy Care

Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: HOOAGO Scientific Dossier summarizes the scientific rationale, formulation strategy, and supporting experimental evidence underlying the development of HOOAGO, a systems-based food formulated for post-spicy care. The dossier describes the integrated three-mechanism architecture of HOOAGO, consisting of (i) a hydrocolloid matrix that provides physical buffering through controlled viscosity, (ii) a dual β-/γ-cyclodextrin inclusion system designed to promote reversible molecular inclusion of free capsaicinoids, and (iii) the SpyCield™ heat-treated postbiotic platform developed to support TRPV1 modulation and intestinal barrier function. Supporting evidence includes physicochemical characterization together with in vitro experimental studies, including oil-layer stabilization assays, hydrogel behavior analyses, TRPV1 calcium flux assays, and Caco-2 transepithelial electrical resistance (TEER) measurements. The dossier also discusses the scientific basis, formulation philosophy, evidence limitations, and future research directions associated with the product. This document is intended as a technical scientific reference for researchers, industry partners, and business development activities. It is not a clinical guideline, medical reference, or evidence of therapeutic efficacy. HOOAGO is developed and marketed as a general food.
