The Primordial Higgs Expansion Model (MEPH): Mathematical Framework and Testable Predictions

Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: We present the Primordial Higgs Expansion Model (MEPH — Modelo de Expansão Primordial de Higgs): the hypothesis that the Higgs field is the "Zero Mark" of physical reality — the substrate from which space, matter and structure emerge through a mechanism of expansion until division. The present paper supplies the mathematical core of the model. We (i) write the action and derive the field equations; (ii) show that MEPH reduces to standard FLRW cosmology in the late-time limit; (iii) formalize the Zero Mark as a closed, vacuum-dominated loitering state whose Eddington-type and tachyonic instabilities provide the intrinsic expansion trigger; (iv) formalize "division" as spontaneous symmetry breaking with Kibble-Zurek domain formation, deriving the domain-wall tension S1 = (2√2/3)μ³/λ and the bias-annihilation condition H_ann = ε/S1; (v) parametrize the rotating sector with Gödel-type relations and derive its dilution law; and (vi) state five testable predictions with explicit falsification criteria. Equations labeled as derivations follow from stated assumptions; conjectures are labeled H1; optional extensions E1–E2 are kept separate from the minimal model. All numerical benchmarks use the measured Higgs parameters m_h = 125 GeV, v = 246 GeV, and were verified by symbolic and numerical computation.
