Scale-Invariant Sub-Planckian Field Towers as a Two-Stage Resolution to the Cosmological Constant Problem and Hubble Tension

Abstract: We propose a three-stage, scale-invariant quantum field architecture designed to resolve the 10120discrepancy in vacuum energy density while simultaneously addressing the 5.6 km/s/Mpc Hubble tension. By modeling sub-Planckian space as a self-similar fractal lattice with alternating discrete parity symmetry (Z2), the infinite ultraviolet (UV) divergent vacuum series is regularized into a strictly convergent geometric sum yielding a normalized pre-factor of ∼0.6667. To throttle this residual energy down to observed cosmological bounds (∼10−120ρPlanck), we introduce a non-perturbative instanton horizon barrier whose action Sinstant≈276.31 is constrained by 4D de Sitter thermodynamics (S=A/4G). Finally, local classical spacetime compatibility is enforced via a Ricci scalar curvature coupling (βRϕ2) that screens dark energy leakage inside galactic potential wells while relaxing in cosmic voids. This dynamic horizon action predicts a redshift-dependent dark energy equation of state w(z), smoothly bridging early-universe CMB measurements (H0=67.4 km/s/Mpc) with modern local JWST/Cepheid observations (H0=73.0 km/s/Mpc).
