Abstract: We model the compact object Cen X-3, which is considered to be a good strange quark star candidate of known mass and radius, incorporating a negative anisotropic factor, and we compute the frequencies of the ten lowest radial oscillation modes. We introduce the anisotropy in three different ways, and we investigate its impact on the spectra.
