Abstract: This paper describes Log-Age Quadrature ICM, which is a new method of calculating ICM value for poker tournaments. The method, referred to as LAQI, is deterministic, fast, and accurate. The paper explains the new method formally, compares it to existing methods of calculating ICM value, and supplies the code needed to run the algorithm and reproduce all results.
