Abstract: My capstone project focused on preventing heat-related illnesses through patient education. I developed and presented an interactive educational workshop for athletic coaches that covered recognizing heat cramps, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke, along with prevention strategies like hydration, acclimatization, and early intervention. The goal was to improve knowledge and help reduce heat-related injuries in active adult individuals.
