Repeatable temporal barcodes reveal bounded cross-region association in mouse visual-thalamic recordings
Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: Repeated flicker generated measurable response barcodes across mouse thalamic and visual populations. The responses were reliably associated across regions, but the data did not distinguish a forward thalamocortical route from shared stimulus-driven structure. This distinction prevents an observational recording result from being overstated as causal gating.
