Clinical significance of ultra-low-amplitude electrograms during lattice-tip atrial mapping
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: Contemporary high-density electroanatomical mapping systems have improved the efficiency and accuracy of atrial arrhythmia ablation by enabling rapid acquisition of voltage and activation maps.1 The Affera mapping system further streamlines this workflow by integrating high-density mapping and ablation into a single lattice-tip catheter, Sphere-9 (both Medtronic, Minneapolis, MN, USA).2–4 This single-catheter platform facilitates a rapid transition from substrate characterization to targeted energy delivery using real-time voltage maps and automated activation maps based on local activation time (LAT) annotation.
