Masson's trichrome and CD45 immunohistochemistry (IHC) on formalin-fixed paraffin embedded kidney tissue sections. DAB (3,3'-diaminobenzidine, brown) was used to visualize CD45 positive cells. IHC image from a severely affected HFD female is shown. B. Expression of Col1a1 mRNA analyzed by RT-qPCR. Data were normalized to housekeeping gene Tbp. C.
