Abstract: This Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) outlines the methodology for submitting new datasets for harmonization and visualization in the Human Reference Atlas Organ Gallery (Bueckle and Cyberinfrastructure for Network Science Center 2024) (Bueckle et al. 2023). It focuses on selecting data types and converting data into a usable format for visualization in virtual reality. The primary audience for this SOP is collaborators who have 2-dimensional (2D) or 3-dimensional (3D) data that they would like to add to the HRA Organ Gallery. This SOP assumes basic working knowledge of Jupyter Notebooks (or a similar format, such as R Markdown), Python programming, and a basic understanding of 3D modeling using tools such as Blender (Blender Foundation, n.d.) and Unity (Unity, n.d.).
