Abstract: Presentation given at the Jornadas Violencia en el mundo antiguo: el contexto aborigen canario, organized by the Museo Arqueológico de Tenerife (Organismo Autónomo de Museos y Centros – Excmo. Cabildo Insular de Tenerife), held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, on 19 and 21 May 2026. The presentation presents research results from the project “Semántica de la violencia en las sociedades indígenas de Canarias”, PID2022-142419OB-I00, led by El Museo Canario, funded by MICIU/AEI/ 10.13039/501100011033 and by ERDF/EU and conducted in collaboration with researchers from other institutions and organizations, including the Cabildo de Gran Canaria and Tibicena, Arqueología y Patrimonio S.L.
