Abstract: When considering Carnaps relationship to psychology, we can distinguish between the question whether (and to what extent) Carnap’s works contain assumptions about what might plausibly be construed as a subject matter of psychology (e.g., mind or behavior), and whether Carnap’s writings about these matters were influenced by (or had implications for) the scientific psychology of his time.
