Intelligence Becomes Science
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: Scientific intelligence emerges when reasoning enters a closed epistemic loop: the system formulates representations, intervenes in computational or physical reality, meets evidence beyond its control, and revises the commitments that fail. This exposure has a cost - the pain of becoming, a disciplined encounter with evidence that resists expectation - and a payoff: preserved as executable knowledge, each failure becomes the starting point of the next inquiry. The loop, and the experience it accumulates as memory, turn intelligence into science.
