Glueball X(2370): Mass from Coherence Without Carrier - Generativity Theory Interpretation
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: This work presents a Generativity Theory (GT) interpretation of the glueball candidate X(2370) recently reported by the BES III Collaboration. Glueballs are predicted QCD states composed entirely of gluons, with mass arising from gluonic binding energy rather than quark content. GT provides a natural upstream explanation for such objects: mass emerges from coherence density (ρC), not from material carriers. In GT, a glueball is defined as a closed coherence configuration in the gluon field, where structural bond strength (SBS) and second‑order coherence difference (Δ²C) generate stability, while coherence density (ρC) generates mass. This makes X(2370) the first experimentally supported exampleof a “mass‑from‑coherence” object — a pre‑structural configuration predicted by GT. The paper shows how glueballs fit into the GT ontology of mass, coherence, and field propagation. It also explains why pure‑coherence objects are expected in pre‑structural physics and how they complement QCD by providing an upstream mechanism for mass formation. The discovery of X(2370) strengthens the GT model of coherence‑based mass and supports the existence of pre‑structural states in high‑energy physics. Author: Waldemar Superson
