Axioms Without Totality — Formalization and the Corrigibility of Syntropic Philosophy

Year: 2026
Type: other
Abstract: This essay examines how formalization can strengthen Syntropic Philosophy without allowing axioms, models, or deductive systems to claim sovereignty over reality. Through dialogue with Frege, Tarski, Gadamer, Gödel, Popper, Kuhn, and Feyerabend, it distinguishes derivability from truth, semantic adequacy from adequacy to reality, completeness from totality, and corrigibility from permanent instability. A limited diagnostic places five commitments of Syntropic Philosophy in relation: mediation, multidimensional coherence, visible assumptions, corrigibility, and responsible orientation. The essay argues that formalization is philosophically legitimate when it increases public answerability, reveals dependencies, clarifies the status and scope of claims, and makes paths of correction more visible. Its governing principle is: Syntropic Philosophy may deduce consequences from its formulations; it cannot deduce the Real.
