Abstract: The rapid advancement of solar cell technology relies heavily on accurate electrical and optical simulations to optimize device performance and efficiency. In this study, we utilize the General-purpose Photovoltaic Device Model (GPVDM) software to conduct comprehensive electrical and optical simulations of a novel solar cell configuration composed of ITO/PEDOT: PSS/D 18 :L 8 -BO/PNDTI-F 3 N/Ag. By employing state-of-the-art simulation techniques, we investigate the device's electrical characteristics, including current-voltage (I-V) behavior, charge carrier distribution, and power conversion efficiency. Furthermore, optical simulations are conducted to analyze light absorption, photon-to-electron conversion efficiency, and spectral response across the visible spectrum. The results provide valuable insights into the performance and potential of the ITO/PEDOT: PSS/D 18 :L 8 -BO/PNDTI-F 3 N/Ag solar cell, facilitating the optimization and design of efficient photovoltaic devices for renewable energy applications.
