Abstract: The purpose of this study is to develop and evaluate the Sadistic Tendencies and Antagonism Rating Scale – Parent Report (STARS-PR), a caregiver-report measure designed to assess youth antagonistic behaviors and the extent to which those behaviors are accompanied by apparent enjoyment of another person’s distress.
