Universal Predictive Guardian: A Cyber-Physical Security Framework for Hydrogen Infrastructure
Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: As infrastructure for green hydrogen steadily advances, it introduces profound cyber-physical attack vulnerabilities such as unauthorised digital intrusion in pipeline controllers, which has the potential to result in catastrophic pipelines failures. Current state of cybersecurity only deals with network traffic and is completely oblivious to physical laws and process limitations. This research introduces a proposed solution that integrates a digital twin architecture to help to real-time validate fluid dynamics with the security loop, embedded in digital design.
