Roebuck's Law 1: Bounded Transport as Flux-Force Phenomena

Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: Roebuck's Law 1 treats bounded transport as Onsager flux-force phenomena. Formalism J = L·F where thermodynamic force F = ∇(μ/T). Entropy production Sigma_dot = J·F/T >=0. Xylem precedent: water flux is driven by water potential gradient and powered by solar-driven transpiration. No net transport occurs without a gradient and without P_in. Ledger requires measurable energy input via calorimetry, momentum closure to lattice and field momentum density g=S/c^2, and total entropy production >=0 with Carnot bound η ≤ 1-Tc/Th. This work operates strictly within the constraints of Zenodo 00 (Roebuck's Law 0, A1-A5). Where reconciliation with A1-A5 fails, this interpretation is rejected. No new physics is proposed.
