Roebuck's Law 3: Transient Thermal Sequestration in Bounded Degrees of Freedom
Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: Roebuck's Law 3 treats storage as time-shift, not creation. Formalism Delta U_stored = ∫P_in dt - ∫∮J_E dA dt, bounded by maximum capacity C_max, chemical potential mu, and elastic P dV turgor pressure. Over a complete cycle ∮dU = 0, no net gain. Power bound P_in >= T_env|Delta S|(1-Tc/Th)/eta + v·F. Biological precedent: plants store energy transiently as starch (chemical mu) and turgor (elastic), release is dissipative and measured. Ledger: Energy stored as mu and elastic, Momentum to structure plus field momentum g=S/c^2, Entropy total Sigma_dot >=0. No free storage. This work operates strictly within the constraints of Zenodo 00 (Roebuck's Law 0, A1-A5). Where reconciliation with A1-A5 fails, this interpretation is rejected.
