Objective Quantification of Spontaneous Emergence of Motor-Awareness Through Dyadic Interactions Mediated by Application of the Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement ® (Supplementary Material 1)

Year: 2026
Type: other
Abstract: Movie created from the pairwise cross-coherence matrices evolving minute by minute using the micro-movement spikes derived from the angular speed across each of 12 sensors affixed to the bodies of an interacting dyad. This dyad is composed by a child and a practitioner of the Anat Baniel Method Neuromovement. The practitioner and the child engage in therapy as the gyroscope sensors measure the orientations of their body parts. They have sensors attached to both of their wrists, lumbar and sacrum locations of the thorax and both ankles. One matrix shows the cross-coherence patterns color coded from blue 0 to yellow 1. The other matrix shows frequencies when the cross-coherence peaks. The sensors sample at 128Hz and the frequencies span from 0-64. These values are then used as inputs to a network of 12 nodes (6 on each person) and network connectivity metrics obtained.
