Optimal Casorati Inequalities for Pointwise SlantRiemannian Maps

Type: article
Abstract: We establish optimal Casorati inequalities for pointwise slant Riemannian maps from Riemannian manifolds into generalized complex space forms and generalized Sasakian space forms. The resulting bounds relate the normalized horizontal scalar curvature to the normalized Casorati curvatures and the ambient constants, with an explicit dependence on the slant angle θ. For a map of rank r≥3 into a generalized complex space form M(c1,c2), the bound reads ρH≤δCH(r−1)+c1+3c2r−1cos2θ. We also characterize totally geodesic pointwise slant Riemannian maps via simultaneous equality in both inequalities. As applications, sharp non-existence obstructions are obtained for totally geodesic pointwise slant proper Riemannian maps from flat Euclidean space into standard Sasakian and Kenmotsu space forms.
