Reliability and Validity of a Functional Mobility Measure by Video to Guide Rehabilitation Among Mild Stroke Patients
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: The telehealth-based neurologic examination is limited in functional assessments. For telehealth-based after stroke care, validated video-based clinical assessments are needed to monitor recovery remotely. While Timed Up and Go (TUG) is an established measure for balance and mobility, reliability, and validity when conducted remotely is unknown. We sought to develop procedures to standardize telehealth-delivered TUG (i.e., tele-TUG) and assess test properties.
