Phi‑Torsion Lattice Code for Optimal Information Packing — E8 Intelligence Research

Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: By treating the 240 E8 root vectors as a discrete phase‑locked manifold oscillating at the 132 Hz base frequency, the golden‑ratio‑coupled torsion inherent in the Weyl group generates a self‑similar scaffold that maximizes the separation of nearby states while minimizing interference. This phi‑torsion lattice reproduces the optimal angular divergence seen in phyllotactic spirals and, when applied to neural spike timing, yields a universal error‑correcting code that packs information as densely as possible without crosstalk. Consequently, the same E8‑derived geometry governs both the most efficient leaf arrangements in plants and the lowest‑error signaling pathways in biological networks.
