Abstract: This article analyzes the diplomatic relations conducted within the framework of the foreign policy of the Kokand Khanate and the composition of the embassies that participated in these relations. In particular, the socio-administrative status of the embassy delegations, their tasks, number, composition of the personnel and their level of training are studied on the basis of historical sources. The article also highlights the specific aspects of the foreign policy of the Kokand Khanate, the place and role of ambassadors in negotiations with neighboring states. The study serves as an important source and scientific basis for illuminating the practice of embassies, especially in the 18th-19th centuries.
