Course Material for Duke High Throughput Sequencing Course
Year: 2021
Type: other
Abstract: This online educational resource was developed as part of Duke University’s NIH-funded High Throughput Sequencing (HTS) Summer Course, an intensive interdisciplinary training program designed to provide researchers with the biological, statistical, computational, and bioinformatics foundations necessary to design, execute, and analyze modern genomics experiments, with a particular emphasis on RNA sequencing. This repository contains all of the course material from the final year of the course (2019) including lecture slides, tutorials, analysis workflows, executable Jupyter notebooks, a Docker-based computational environment, and reproducible training datasets. The curriculum integrates conceptual instruction with hands-on analysis, reflecting a pedagogical commitment to reproducible and data-intensive science by enabling learners to execute complete high-throughput sequencing workflows in standardized computational environments.
