Abstract: In the course of the research, a statistical analysis of the inheritance patterns of valuable economic traits (short stem) in hybrid generations of various varieties and hybrids of sunflower, as well as the order of correlation of these traits, is being carried out. In the parental forms of sunflower selected as the initial source, the dynamics of stem growth was observed in different phases of the growing period, and a variational series was analysed in the plots.
