Abstract: This article analyses the theoretical and methodological foundations and the practical significance of applying modern art-pedagogical approaches and of studying advanced foreign experience in the process of training future specialists in the field of music education in Uzbekistan. The study considers the currently pressing problems of music education, the need to improve the pedagogical process, the essence of modern art-pedagogical conceptions and the issues involved in applying them to music education. It also examines advanced practices in the music education systems of the world's leading countries, their distinctive features and the possibilities of adapting them to the conditions of Uzbekistan. The article emphasises the importance of interactive methods, innovative technologies and approaches aimed at developing creative and research activity in the training of future musical personnel. The results of the study are expected to serve the development of methodological recommendations for music education institutions, the updating of curricula and the improvement of the system of professional development for teaching staff. Devoted to the pressing issues of training musical personnel who meet modern requirements and possess creative and professional competences, this work makes its own contribution to the development of the field.
