Abstract: This article provides information on the history of iron processing technologies in the Fergana Valley since ancient times. The technologies of iron processing have been studied using examples from the "Chust culture," the archaeological sites of Qorabuloq and Munchoqtepa, as well as the blacksmithing centers of Axsikent. Additionally, opinions are presented on the technology of high-quality crucible steel production by the metallurgist-blacksmiths of Axsikent.
