Constrained Form II: How Building Traditions Close Their Forms, and What They Build Afterwards
Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: Second paper of the Constrained Form series. A local building process can close only a bounded repertoire of forms; the first paper established that bound. This paper asks what happens next: how a finite form-space is occupied in time, how planning selects within it, and how closed local forms couple into larger wholes that behave in ways no part does. Giza enters as the source saturation case, the Arsenale di Amalfi as the measured local-to-global bridge. A protocol with declared falsifiers governs every historical claim. The deposit holds the manuscript and its LaTeX source, the pilot workbook, eight verifiers with recorded outputs and biting negative controls, the claim registers and an adversarial referee matrix. Every gate is reproducible from the archive. Companions: Theoretical Core 10.17605/OSF.IO/3PC9F · Extended Edition 10.17605/OSF.IO/D538Y · Arsenali di Amalfi 10.17605/OSF.IO/A2GS7
