Abstract: This article analyzes the role and importance of laboratory exercises in the formation of students' technical and professional competencies in teaching physics. During the study, the possibilities of developing technical thinking, conducting experiments, working with measuring instruments, solving problem situations, and analyzing results through laboratory exercises were studied. The article highlights the effectiveness of experimental teaching methods, the use of information and communication technologies, and an integrated approach in the modern educational process.
