The Infinium △₁ₓ₁ as the Unified Carrier of the Discrete and the Continuous: From Motive Structure to the Resolution of the Fundamental Dichotomy of Mathematics (a geometric quantum erasing the boundary between arithmetic and analysis)

Abstract: The problem of the relation between the discrete and the continuous is one of the central issues in the foundations of mathematics. For millennia it has manifested itself in Zeno's paradoxes, in the difficulties of grounding analysis, and in the incommensurability of arithmetic and geometry. In the present work it is shown that the right isosceles triangle △₁ₓ₁ (the infinium) with legs 1 and hypotenuse √2 serves as a natural bridge between these two worlds. Its motive structure M(ℑ) = ℚ(0) ⊕ ℚ(1)[1] ⊕ ℚ(1)[√2] is non‑split precisely because of the irrationality of √2, which symbolizes the indissolubility of the discrete (the legs) and the continuous (the hypotenuse). We show how this construction sheds light on the unsolved Millennium Problems and on already proven theorems, and why Δ‑ontology offers a unified language for describing reality. Furthermore, we demonstrate how the Collatz and Goldbach conjectures reveal the energetic nature of numbers: every arithmetic operation appears as an energy transformation of △‑structures, and these conjectures become statements about energy minimization and about the decomposition of symmetry into two asymmetries.
