It analyzes changes in the visual practice of art production, the principles of color theory, and the methods applied in teaching work with color, including developed approaches, visual demonstration, and an analysis of practical and creative outcomes. Issues of working with color are considered on the basis of students' age characteristics, individual actions, and stage-by-stage processes. The article substantiates the pedagogical significance of improving aesthetic taste in color and of observing the development of artistic thinking.
