Abstract: This thesis analyses, on the basis of the scientific literature, the important role played by microelements alongside macroelements in increasing wheat yield and grain quality. Proceeding from the results of this analysis, it can be seen that most scientific studies are aimed at examining the effect of microelements on plant growth and development, photosynthetic processes, nutrient metabolism and the formation of yield elements. According to the analytical results of the literature, treating wheat seeds with microelement preparations and applying them during the vegetation period improves the germination, tillering and yield of wheat as well as grain quality indicators. It can also be observed that analytical data are presented indicating that determining the effective rates and application methods of microelements under the soil and climatic conditions of the Aral Sea region is one of the important factors in obtaining a high and high-quality harvest.
