Abstract: This article analyzes the theoretical and practical foundations of technologies for using geometric shapes in the process of depicting the human figure in fine art lessons. It elucidates the methodology of the constructive modeling of the complex plastic structure of the human body with the help of such simple geometric forms as the sphere, the cylinder, the cube, the prism, and the cone. The effectiveness of teaching the laws of proportion, volume, perspective, light and shade, and movement through the method of construction on a geometric basis is substantiated from a scientific and pedagogical standpoint. The role of this approach in developing students' spatial thinking, analytical reasoning, and creative abilities is also revealed. The article provides a scientific account of the significance of the geometric construction method as a systematic, step-by-step, and innovative pedagogical technology in fine art education.
