Abstract: ABSTRACT Personalisation is shaping our culture and politics, and this article argues that it's not simply a convenience we can accept and ignore. Personalisation makes us less visible to each other, meaning collective politics is harder. This article argues that political identities are formed collectively and that articulating a new politics requires mutual visibility, coordination, and common knowledge.
