Tidal–Lithospheric–Radon–Atmospheric Coupling as a Testable Hypothesis for Pre-Seismic Environmental Anomalies / Acoplamiento marea–litosfera–radón–atmósfera como hipótesis comprobable de anomalías ambientales presísmicas

Abstract: This bilingual English–Spanish paper proposes a testable Tidal–Lithospheric–Radon–Atmospheric Coupling hypothesis linking lunar and solar tidal stress, crustal permeability and microfracturing, radon-222 release, near-surface atmospheric ionization, aerosol processes and possible atmospheric anomalies. The model does not claim that tides cause earthquakes or that cloud formations can predict seismic events. Instead, it proposes a multiparametric experimental framework to investigate whether an ordered temporal sequence — tidal stress → crustal response → radon anomaly → atmospheric ionization/aerosol anomaly → possible atmospheric signature → seismic event — occurs more frequently than expected by chance. The paper discusses falsifiable predictions, meteorological confounders and an observational protocol involving radon, atmospheric variables, tidal calculations and seismic catalogues.
