Abstract: Due to its biogeographical characteristics, the flora of Karakalpakstan consists of approximately 1110 species[2] of vascular plants, which become the center of medicinal plant diversity. Approximately species of medicinal plants have been used in traditional medicine, but according to recent studies, we can confirm that 444 species of medicinal plants grow in Karakalpakstan [1]. The taxonomic analysis of the medicinal plant flora in the territory of Karakalpakstan showed the following main results. The majority of medicinal plant species are magnoliophytes. They consist of 437 species, accounting for 98.42% of the total medicinal plant flora. Of these, dicotyledons (Magnoliopsida) account for 86.26%, while monocotyledons (Liliopsida) account for 12.16%.
