Abstract: This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of the effective use of the AutoCAD program in the process of teaching technical drawing. It highlights ways of developing graphic literacy on the basis of digital technologies, forming students' creative and technical thinking, and increasing the effectiveness of education. The article presents on a scientific basis the issues of performing complex drawings quickly and accurately through the capabilities of AutoCAD, developing visual imagination, and consolidating practical skills.
