Abstract: In today's era the road traffic accidents, violence, physical handling are more common in the society, due to post trauma or injury there may be vitiation of the vata which causes pain, stiffness, lack of mobility in affected part etc. In our classics abhighata is told as one of the nidana for vata vyadhi or dushti of vata dosha1,2. So this case study is undertaken to reveal the treatment modalities that can be applied is such Abhighataja vata.
