Kinematic analysis of walking and immuno-histological analysis of lesion area following TMP-316, a novel kinase inhibitor, infusion in male Sprague Dawley rats with cervical hemi-contusion injury

Year: 2026
Type: dataset
Abstract: STUDY PURPOSE: The animal experiments reported here are aimed at evaluating the efficacy of a single intrathecal dose of TMP-316 in a rat cervical spinal cord injury model, and determining whether intrathecal TMP-316 induces astrocyte or microglial reactivity in the spinal cord. DATA COLLECTED: The dataset contains animal-level data from two studies. The efficacy study includes vehicle and TMP-316 treatment groups, cervical hemicontusion parameters, longitudinal kinematic assessments from baseline through 42 days post-injury, forelimb gait traces, and spinal cord lesion-area measurements. The neuroinflammation study includes glial fibrillary acidic protein fluorescence intensity and ionized calcium-binding adaptor molecule 1-positive cell density measured in rostral and caudal lumbar spinal cord 14 days after intrathecal administration of vehicle or TMP-316 to uninjured rats.
