Chaos generation in cavity magnonics systems

Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: Understanding quantum chaos is pivotal for fundamental physics and developing quantum technologies including computing and secure communications. We propose a hybrid multimode cavity magnetomechanical scheme to generate dynamical chaos, integrating two microwave cavity fields coupled to magnetic vibrator modes. Through comprehensive numerical analysis incorporating broadband spectral signatures, phase-space strange attractors, and Lyapunov exponent characterization, we demonstrate that the system exhibits unambiguous chaotic signatures. Notably, our results reveal a strong correlation between the cross-Kerr effect and the chaotic dynamics of magnon-phonon subsystems, as evidenced by the pronounced sensitivity of their respective Lyapunov exponents. These findings establish Kerr nonlinearity as a fundamental control parameter for chaotic dynamics while advancing our theoretical framework for multimode nonlinear interactions in cavity magnetonic systems. The demonstrated control mechanisms provide critical insights for developing chaos-based quantum technologies, particularly in applications requiring precise dynamical regime engineering.
