Decreased hypothalamic functional connectivity during orthostatic stress in hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos with postural tachycardia syndrome
Year: 2026
Type: dataset
Abstract: This dataset was acquired at DLR, Cologne, Germany. The study complied with the Declaration of Helsinki, and was approved by the local ethics committee. All subjects gave written informed consent. Data acquisitionMRI data All MR images were acquired on a Siemens 3T mMR Biograph using a 32channel head coil. The scanning protocol consisted of the following sequences. GRE: Functional whole brain gradient-echo echo-planar images (EPI) (TR=1180 ms; TE=32 ms; FA: 64°; 2mm isotropic resolution; multiband factor = 6; partial Fourier=7/8; 414 volumes) GRE_NOMB: Reference scan for motion correction and template formation; equivalent to GRE but without multi-band acceleration (TR=6770 ms) SE_NOMB_AP or PA: Reference scans for unwarping: Two spin-echo images matched to GRE in distortion without multi-band acceleration; one with the same, the other one with inverted phase encoding direction. T1: T1-weighted magnetisation-prepared rapid acquisition gradient-echo image (MPRAGE) (TR=2400 ms; TE=2.15 ms; TI=1000 ms; resolution: 1x1x1 mm3, in-plane acceleration factor=2) T2: T2-weighted SPACE (TR=3200 ms; TE=564 ms; resolution: 1x1x1 mm3, in-plane acceleration factor=2)
